Privacy Policy
This notice explains how information is handled when you browse or purchase, contact support, or use a privacy control. The information involved depends on your activity and the services used.
Information and sources
Categories may include identifiers and contact details (name, email, telephone, account, delivery address, and order number); commercial information (items viewed, cart contents, purchases, returns, and support history); transaction status and limited payment details; and internet or device activity (IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages visited, and cookie or similar technology data). We receive information directly from you, from your browser or device, and from Shopify and service providers involved in checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, analytics, advertising, support, or delivery. Do not email full card numbers, security codes, or bank credentials.
Purposes
Information may be used to operate the storefront, remember cart or preferences, process payment, fulfill and ship orders, track deliveries, handle returns and refunds, answer questions, administer accounts, prevent fraud and protect security, understand site performance, keep records, comply with legal duties, and send transactional or permitted marketing communications. We seek to limit use and retention to purposes a customer would reasonably expect and that are appropriate to the service.
Cookies, advertising, and disclosure
Cookies, pixels, local storage, or similar tools may support essential site functions, preferences, measurement, and advertising where configured. Third-party analytics or advertising services, including Google Ads if configured for this storefront, may receive browser/device identifiers and activity to measure campaigns or personalize ads. The use of these services depends on the storefront’s current configuration, your privacy choices, and applicable regional rules. Shopify and contractors may host the store, process checkout/payment, provide security, analytics or advertising where configured, support customers, and deliver orders. Information may also be disclosed for legal process, safety, rights protection, or a business transfer. Certain advertising disclosures may be treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some state laws; we do not characterize every disclosure that way. Third parties may process information under their own notices and in other jurisdictions.
Retention and safeguards
We retain information as reasonably needed for orders, support, accounting, tax, legal compliance, security, and dispute resolution. Periods vary by category and may extend where law requires or permits. Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your residence, applicable law, and its definitions and exceptions, rights may include access/knowledge, correction, deletion, a portable copy, and opting out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising disclosures. California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), including rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where CCPA/CPRA applies and sensitive personal information is used or disclosed beyond purposes permitted by law, you may also have the right to limit that use or disclosure. We do not promise every statutory right applies to every person or data category. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
To submit a request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, email support@davonik.shop with “Privacy Request” in the subject or call +1 (703) 342-8705. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or an agent’s authority. Where the CCPA applies, we generally confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days; if more time is reasonably needed, we may extend once by up to 45 additional calendar days and explain why. Opt-out requests are handled within the period required by the law that applies, including the CCPA’s 15-business-day period where applicable. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason and how to appeal where applicable law provides an appeal. You may also submit a privacy complaint to the California Privacy Protection Agency at cppa.ca.gov. Authorized agents may submit requests where law permits.
Opt-out controls and browser signals
Use Your Privacy Choices for the Shopify opt-out control currently available on this site. The control describes browser/device choices and an optional customer-account choice. A Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is a browser preference. Where applicable law requires, a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser is an opt-out preference for that browser or device. The signal does not necessarily change a separate customer account or another device. If you want us to review a choice or apply it to a customer account, use the available account option on Your Privacy Choices or email us.
Legal bases where required
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to fulfill an order or your request, meet legal obligations, protect the site and customers, or with your consent where required.
Children, links, and updates
This storefront is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it unless the law requires us to retain it. Third-party links follow their own notices. We may update this policy as practices or legal requirements change and will post the current version here.
